Period#1- Students are in groups of 4- researching special effects. On Thursday they will present their proposal of the StemExpo assignment. They will go into details of the project including their formula for display and scientific explanation. Period #3- Law- Students will examine the evidence of the Steven Truscott case and determine how their would vote if they had been on the jury.  Period#1- Students will begin to research theatrical effects.The students will be given information as to the upcoming stemexpo. Students will compete to build a presentation on creating a scientific fair presentation of special effects used in theatre. Groups of 3 for the most. The presentations will take place on Friday this week. One group will be chosen to represent our class at the expo next week. Follow science fair rules, - Hypothesis, question, ect.Period #3- Law- Students will watch the Steven Truscott video and finish their response to the video. Discuss. Period #4- Digital sound- Students will begin the recording session today after Mr. Gopee has heard and approve their writing. All other students should work to develop a multitracking song setup in the studio. Period #6- Law- Students will watch the Steven Truscott video and finish their response to the video. Discuss.

  Period#1- Final presentations for original script Period #3- Law- Students will research and write a one page duscussion paper on the Steven Truscott case. Please include information about the crime, the court proceedings and any other intertesting evidence. Students should write in their own words their opinion of the case with an explanation of the verdict in the case. Students will list 3 resources used (do not use wikipedia)  Period #4- Digital sound- Students will begin the recording session today after Mr. Gopee has heard and approve thewir writing. Period#1-  Students will present an argument for an original script.Period #3- Law- Students will examine the roles of each of the court officials as well as the process of jury duty. We will also conduct and excercise to better understand what makes a good or bad witness and how to define reasonable doubt. Period #4- Digital sound- Teacher will sit and discuss the recording process and how to make good use of time in the studio. A schedule will be discussed and the students will practice their recording. Period #6- Law- Students will examine the roles of each of the court officials as well as the process of jury duty. We will also conduct and excercise to better understand what makes a good or bad witness and how to define reasonable doubt.

Period#1- students will need to complwete presentation infomation. A discussion on building a persausive argument."sell their Script"- Due on Thursday. Period #3- Law- Students will have a quiz on the definitions of law terms (30 minutes) Correct quiz another 15 minutes. The students will then look the set up of the courtroom and the purpose of the floor plan.  Period #4- Digital sound- Look at how lyrics balance with the music/ and instrument selection and style. Teacher will then begin to organize the times for each group to record.  Period #6- Law- - Students will have a quiz on the definitions of law terms Correct quiz another 15 minutes. Period #2- Students will watch an episode of the first 48 hours, which show students the events of cime solving. Period #4 DIGITAL SOUND 120- Finish Watch Foley assignments.- Tour the District 16 sound studio and introduce Pro tools software. Period #6-LAW 120- Open discussion of the courhouse case that was viewed earlier this morning. Predictions and criminal codes and offences and courtroom policies.

Period #1- THEATRE ARTS- Finish story- Typed copy- write a proposal- The proposal should be a persuasive paragraph that woould entice the reader to want more and ask questions.
