Period #1- Broadcast Journalism-Students are reminded about the following deadlines for this week. There is lots to do, so focus on getting the following things completed.Journalism paper- bio of a journalist- Dues Today. December 1st, 2010Wed-  Today write a news story and post it on the district 16 report page. dt16community.nbed.nb.ca/reportVideo stories due on Friday December 3rd, 2010 Video Blogs begin on Friday. Period #2- Multimedia Students will look at how photos can be manipulated through photoshop to create false information. Look at nation Inquirer for example. Then they will use their skills to create a national inquirer story. Make sure that you use the text that supports your story. It should look like an article, advertisement or front page.  Due on Friday. Period #3- Period #6- Ancient history. Students will work in class to complete their tic-tac-to assignment on Egypt. Due at the end of the week. 

Period 1- Broadcast Journalism- Objective: Students will explore and report their findings on a journalist. Wednesday- News Story due Friday- Blog Due Monday- Finish News Story Tuesday- Rough copy of journalist paper due. MLA Format discussed. Period #2- Multimedia- Objective: Students complete their 1 minute video. Homework bring a picture in digital format. Period #3 and #6- Ancient History- Objective: Students will investigate the historical significance of culture of Egypt . Explore the family life, science, arts, literature and government of Egypt discussed in class. Brochure or newspaper will be developed to assess information. Due on Tuesday.
