English 9 - Hey there!  Today, we began the next phase of your Month One in Words packet, with you selecting which topic you'd like to develop and choosing the best text form (type of writing) for that particular topic.  The final, polished piece (along with all parts of the process) is due APRIL 16 (two weeks from today).  I've attached the assignment page and rubric.  We then continued reading in our Shakespearean gem, and met our friend Shylock... English 122 - You have an Article of the Week due tomorrow, and we enjoyed a few Book Talks.  We'll continue with those tomorrow.

Eng 9 - Today, you completed your Mock ELPA.  Tomorrow, we'll compare & contrast this one to the one you wrote last September.  Can't wait!  Remember, the Reading Comprehension section will be next Tuesday, Jan. 15 in the morning, Writing I will be Wednesday (Jan. 16) morning and Writing II will be Wednesday afternoon. Eng 121 - In class this morning, we determined that we'd read up to page six of Everyman, making tons of notation in order to direct our discussion tomorrow.  Also, we took some time to have a look at the rubrics I'll be using on your final exam, and how best to use them.  You have three sample questions due for tomorrow (based on Of Mice and Men), which I'll have scored for you by Monday.
