English 9 - Hey there!  We'll be starting some presentations tomorrow!  Be sure yours is tailored to fit the rubric we came up with together.  Can't wait!

English 121 - Nothing for tomorrow!  We'll talk about your thesis ideas (I'll also give you the general outline form you'll work with - it'll need to be approved before you write your essay), and we'll complete an in-class assignment using a very strange little short story...

English 9 - Thanks for completing your MLA-formatted research essays!  You should aim to have your presentation completed by the end of class tomorrow, and we'll start presenting on Thursday!

English 121 - Thank you for completing your non-fiction selection for today.  For tomorrow, please identify the thesis you'll prove or disprove in the essay you'll be writing.  For Thursday, please have your Article of the Week done (thanks, Noah!), along with Flowers for Algernon (complete with notation ON the story, made DURING your reading, and a great response to the question we developed).

Eng 9 - Your Article of the Week is due on Wednesday.  Also, remember to have your book with you at all times, but especially for our SSR on Tuesday and Friday.  It'll give you a jump on getting some reading done for the Book-A-Month that's due on Oct. 30.Eng 122 - AotW due on Wednesday.  Your supported reserach essay is due tomorrow.  Be sure it aligns with everything indicated on the rubric - assure yourself some success!  Tomorrow, we'll continue frontloading for Dr. Faustus.

English 9 - GREAT work today developing the outline for your friendly letter, the third step in the process.  Tomorrow, as a class, we'll create the rubric that I'll use to score it when it's finished.  Let's reward what's taking the most of your efforts!English 122 - Terrific analysis today of the title and character motivations in Stephen King's "A Death".  We'll finish that tomorrow, then do the "dual story" approach!  Can't wait!
