Hi folks,

I want you to think about what kind of physical activity you have been doing the past couple of weeks.  Have you been physically active?  If so, great job!  If not, this is what we are going to work on this week.  I want you to get up, get active, get outside and have fun.  I am asking that you set a goal of being active for at least 60 minutes each day for the remainder of the week.

Also, I am asking that you try to get set up in the Teams account for this class.

Spring is here!  I want you to get outside for the remainder of this week.  The purpose of this is twofold, it gets you physically active and allows you to explore your surroundings.  While outside, I want you to be aware of what changes are beginning to take place.  I would like you to make notes of what you see, hear, smell, etc.  We will monitor and discuss the changes that are taking place over the next couple of weeks in our environment.  Some things to look for would be the changes in trees, new growth of flowers and grass, what kinds of animals and birds in your area, etc.

Also, I am asking that you try to get set up in the Teams account for this class.

Hey crew,

First off, I hope you and your families are well during this time at home. This is new for all of us and we are all going to get through this together.  But, for the time being we are going to have to do things a bit different.  The main thing is that you are all doing well and looking after yourselves.

Wellness 110 – I will be making phone calls home over the next day or two to check in.  I would ask that you regularly check my teacher page for updates and posts. As well, I would appreciate it if you could please send me an email during this time (lindsay.tucker@nbed.nb.ca) so that I can be in contact with all of you.  I’m looking forward to chatting with you.

Outdoor Education 110 – I’m asking that you regularly check here on my teacher page for updates and posts.  I would also love to hear from you and would appreciate it if you could please send me an email during this time (lindsay.tucker@nbed.nb.ca) so that I can be in contact with you.

Phys Ed 120I’m asking that you regularly check here on my teacher page for updates and posts.  I would also love to hear from you and would appreciate it if you could please send me an email during this time (lindsay.tucker@nbed.nb.ca) so that I can be in contact with you.

I am in the process of setting up some home learning activities using Microsoft Teams, so please let me know if you have access, and I will give you the codes to get things up and running for each class.

As well, I ask that you check out the Physical Education tab on the school page for activities that you and your families can do to stay healthy and active.

I miss you all and am looking forward to hearing from each of you and getting into the swing of things together.  Talk soon!
