On Wednesday October 4, 2017, The TADD group and Interact group of James M Hill Memorial High School joined forces to fundraise money to help TADD (Teens Against Distracted Driving). Their efforts were to raise money for the setup, props, and decorations of a haunted house in the school. The haunted house will be taking place on October 27th and October 28th from 7:00-10:00, so come out if you dare to be scared.
There was a great hole created in the community of Miramichi on Wednesday, October 5th, 2017. A one of a kind man, Lloyd Cameron, a former teacher, mentor, volunteer, and respected individual tragically passed away unexpectedly at the age of 67.
What makes James M Hill the best high school in Miramichi…? Originality. And recently we have been challenged by our rivals across the river, Miramichi Valley High School. On Wednesday October 11 2017, there was a feeling of pain throughout the school as we discovered our ideas had been stolen. Wellness Wednesday which was our glorious brain child here at JMH was ripped off by our counterpart. Many students the following day went to school aghast and confused on how our rivals were able to so effortlessly take our ideas.
Grade 9 students will begin on Tuesday, September 5th at Boomerang Day...a great chance to meet your teachers, find your classes, get an introduction to JMH and learn what it means to be a Tommie! Also, enjoy a free BBQ lunch compliments of your Student Council.
