Welcome to Week Five. 

 

This week we will take a break from the Learning to Breath text. Instead, we will be focusing on gratitude.  Read through the PowerPoint Expressing Gratitude.  Your assignment for this week is to think of 100 things you are grateful for.  Enjoy!

Mindfulness 120

 

Welcome to Week Three. 

 

This week we will continue with our Learning to Breath text.  We are now on the letter T of BREATHE.  T for Tenderness – take it as it is

 

 

 

So this week we will be focusing on our showing ourselves some tenderness.  Similar to what we were doing in class, read through the slides of the attached PowerPoint and use the worksheet “Letter T” to fill in the missing information.

 

 

 

Also included is an article with some great ideas ways to show yourself some kindness.  Read the article and reflect on the ideas presented.

Mindfulness 120

 

HEY!!! Welcome to Week Three. 

 

Please, if you haven’t already, e-mail me from your preferred e-mail to say “Hi”, you can add a brief message letting me know how you have been spending your time.  I really do miss all of your faces!  My e-mail is: cheris.young@nbed.nb.ca

 

This week we will continue with our Learning to Breath text.  We are now on the letter A of BREATHE.  Just to recap:

 

BREATHE –

 

  • listen to your Body
  • Reflections (thoughts) are just thoughts
  • surf the waves of your Emotions
  • Attend to the inside and the outside
  • try Tenderness – take it as it is
  • practice healthy Habits of mind
  • gain the inner edge and be Empowered

So this week we will be focusing on our attention.  Similar to what we were doing in class, read through the slides of the attached PowerPoint and use the worksheet “Letter A” to fill in the missing information.

 

Also included is an activity to try sometime this week.  The Rainbow Walk will allow you to pay attention to your surroundings as well as paying attention to your thoughts, your feelings and your body.

Hello my Lovelies! 

I've attached a copy of your Daily Journals.  I know it's not your own individual journal, but most of you had been enjoying the time you were given to spend working on them each day.  If you can't print out a copy of the attached journal, you can at least gather some ideas to keep the routine of spending some time with yourselves daily.
