Chapter 7 Review
- There will be a test Wednesday November 14th. Those tests will be returned the next day to review for Monday's re-test (Novemeber 19th). The test will break down in to three learning targets based on chapter 7:
- Learning Target 1: Define and explain the formation of ionic and metallic compounds. Practice questions to help review: Pages 207 - 209 #s 30-34, 36-39, 41-48, 51, 55, 56.. (answer file below)
- Learning Target 2: Write and identify electron configurations, Lewis dot structures and structural diagrams for ionic compounds. Practice questions to help review: Page 207-209 #s 35, 40, 49, 53, 58, 59, 62, 63, 65, 69. (answer file below) Please note: Given an image of a crystalline structure of a metal, you should be able to match it with its name.
- Learning Target 3: Explain and identify properties of ionic and metallic compounds. Practice questions for review: Page 207-209 #s 43, 46-48, 51, 60, 66, 68, 70, 71, 73, 74, 76, 78, 79. (answer file below)
