History 112: Students have just learned about the 4 major movements in a
revolution. Students will now examine current revolutions around the world.
They will use the below website to trace the Arab Springs movement in one of
the countries listed on the website. The teacher then leads a discussion in
what they have found and students will discover that these same 4 factors are
in historical revolutions.

Students watched the fifth estate presentation of the Ashley Smith case
yesterday. Teacher will discuss with students what they have learned about the
case and how media represented the case. Teacher will use this information to
explain to students the power of the media and how it can influence cases.
